Mum of Ivy, Dutchie in Brighton, massive sea and beach lover and always thinking about the next camera... Documentary photography has been my passion for many years and, since having my daughter, photographing family life has become my biggest love.
Your family story is told in the small moments: the hugs, kisses and tickles, even the tears, are all part of daily family life.
As a mother myself, I find that these are the moments that really matter, and that’s why I strongly believe in emotive family images, the ones that show love, connection and true feelings.
As a photographer, I aim to take photos of your family that celebrate you as a family, and how you are right now.

Whether it's a first birthday party, a small intimate wedding ceremony, an anniversary, or any other family milestone, I can capture those moments for you. Like in all my other family photo shoots, these pictures will have a documentary feel.
My photojournalistic approach to family photography means that you don't have to worry about anything, I shoot the moments as they come and there is absolutely nothing to prepare.
"I asked Irma to take some photos of my family when my daughter was a month old. I was hesitant because I don't really enjoy having pictures taken but I am so glad I decided to go for it. Irma is a true professional! She was so lovely and chatty which was the perfect distraction and meant there was no awkwardness at all. The best part was obviously the photographs.
